Over this summer of frenzy over ChatGPT, GPT-4, and plethora of LLMs from other companies, I was redesigning my Deep Learning course at University of Latvia. It resulted into several intro videos below capturing the current state-of-the-art in my eyes. Although videos are voiced in Latvian, they have also English subtitles.

9-What is Language?
The last video clearly indicates that PiniTree is aiming at the missing part of ChatGPT - the memories accumulated over the lifetime, both textual and visual like the map of the Uffizi gallery and clever thoughts of Socrates. More over - these memories are much like any database, where records can be 1-shot added, updated and deleted (though the transaction history remains in the database as well). This is the missing part of ChatGPT, although how to integrate PiniTree+ChatGPT is still a mystery
These videos also reveal how unreliable the language is - it is merely a tool for cooperation through influencing each other with promises, lies, encouragements, etc. - after all, through such dreams and lies the future is actually created. This is why even for PiniTree we indicated, that we intend to cover only past (truth), not future speculations.
What the interesting times we are witnessing! Let see, which of the claims in these 6 videos will stand the test of the time, and which will fall as misconceptions.
